Nothing touches my PP software except my own data. If I want MLAT of all my local traffic (including military and blocked) I use FlightAware MLAT either directly on my Pi or through VRS. Personally I use PP to view all my local data. Yes, it is possible but too much for one post here. If you do that you will want to be very careful that PP does not broadcast those merged feeds up to the PP server as your local received data. Since you mentioned you use a Pi, upload to multiple places, are familiar with VRS, and already know about merged feeds you are WAY ahead of the typical new PP user here! Yes, it is entirely possible to take your merged feeds including FlightAware MLAT and feed it to your version of PP over TCP. If this is NOT the database issue you're asking about give us some more details.
